Yoga Therapy

Senior Times

Yoga has been proven to calm the mind and make the body healthy. It harmonises the mind and the spirit and brings balance into daily life. People of all ages can practice yoga. The yoga positions can be modified whenever necessary and the exercises will help you regain or maintain the strength of your joints and muscles and improve the function of all your body systems.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga improves health by restoring inner harmony and practising yoga everyday is beneficial to all areas of your life- mental, physical, and spiritual. If used in conjunction with modern medicine, yoga will reduce the side effects of modern treatments.

Yoga Therapy Ireland focuses on teaching, practising and researching yoga as a form of natural therapy for health problems. At a yoga therapy session, you will be given an individual consultation and a Holisitic Yoga programme designed to suit your needs. You will also learn about self- empowerment and you’ll be encouraged to take a role in your own healing, you’ll learn how to relieve stress and how to manage your own pain. After a few yoga therapy sessions, you will then be ready to join a yoga class.
